Real Estate in Kenner LA

Kenner was founded In 1855 by Minor Kenner on land that consisted of three plantation properties that had been purchased by the Kenner family. At the time, all land north of what is now Airline Highway was swampland.

Kenner's real growth began in the 1950s when developers began subdividing and building homes. However, the 1960s with the construction of the interstate really saw the jump in population.

Kenner is now home to the Louis Armstrong International Airport, Ochsner Medical Center and Esplanade Mall just to name a few important places of interest.
